RANDOMS: 15 Day Reading Challenge – Day 5

Welcome to Day 5 of the 15 Day Reading Challenge!

Day 1 – What is your favorite book and why?

Day 2 – A quote from said favorite book?

Day 3 – Your favorite author and book by them?

DAY 4 – Your favorite book from your childhood?

I don’t really have a “guilty pleasure” book exactly. I am pretty open about what I read and I admit that I read some weird shit. I have no shame. If I had to name a book that came close, that would probably be the Carrie Bradshaw books by Candace Bushnell. Honestly, if the entire series was a series of book, I would probably read them too. The Carrie books (The Carrie Diaries and Summer in the City) are the closest I would say I have ever come to reading straight up “chick books”. Well, aside from getting tricked into First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost but that books badass factor made up for the quivering members and swollen….well, you get the picture.

Connie Suttle’s Blood Destiny series.

No guilty pleasure book. I’m not ashamed of what I read. I just bought 50 Shades of Grey, which a lot of ppl are saying is a “guilty pleasure”.

  1. After thinking about this, and reading what Jena and Heather have to say, I admit I’m not ashamed of liking The Blood Destiny series either. This series is a guilty pleasure for me because these are books that I do not plan to write reviews about–I’m reading them just for the enjoyment of watching Lissa kick butt 🙂 .

  2. My guily pleasure reads are Jill Connor Browne’s SPQ books. I know, pretty tame for a guily pleasure.
