Tell us all about you and your writing!!

Writing is my passion, the one thing that I’ve always wanted to do. Books and stories have been a major part of my life since childhood; as a child, I can remember putting stories together with pictures before I learned how to write. From there, I picked up my pen and have not since put it down. My stories tend towards darker tones and I describe my work now as “Dark Fantasy.” At the moment I am working in the steampunk genre and I enjoy reading fantasy of all sorts – adventure, steampunk, epic, magic realism. I’m a mom-of-two, living in small town Ontario (having also lived in a few major urban centres, as well as the suburbs) which has an exceptional writing community and I belong to a fabulous writing group, the Georgetown Wordsmiths. I plan to have my current novel WIP (as well as a few shorts) published within the next couple of years.

Any new releases that we should be watching for?

I have a steampunk fantasy novel that I’m polishing up at the moment and considering a few options for publication. I’m also hoping to publish a few short stories in the coming months.
