Tell us all about you and your writing!!
I live in the Rocky Mountains, and am married to an actor. I also have a little girl who is so full of energy, she often makes it difficult to write, but I try! Right now, I am working on my 7th novel. It is young adult, set in the late 17th century – both in Colonial America and Scotland. It involves a shipwreck, indentured servitude, witches, selkies, and of course, forbidden love, difficult choices, and revenge. I plan to finish this novel in the next few weeks, and will then be sending it to my publisher to see if they would like it. I hope they do! I have three books out at the moment: MONARCH, published by a small publisher based in Washingtong (Rhemalda Publishing); THE BREAKAWAY, published by the same publisher, and TRUE COLORS, which is a short story collection independently published by myself.

Any new releases that we should be watching for?
My contemporary young adult suspense novel, THE BREAKAWAY, was just released on May 1st. It is the story of a girl who is kidnapped, and in order to escape, she devises a plan to make one of her kidnappers believe she is falling in love with him. Also, keep an eye out for BONDED, which will be released by Rhemalda Publishing November 1st of this year (2012). This is a collection of my three fairy-tale inspired novellas based on Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and the little-known fairy tale, One-Eye, Two-Eyes, Three-Eyes. BONDED contains the novella, CINDERS, which is no longer for sale at this time. CINDERS was independently published by myself a few years ago, but was then picked up by my publisher, along with my other unpublished novellas to be published as BONDED.
