RANDOMS: 15 Day Reading Challenge – Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the 15 Day Reading Challenge!

Day 1 – What is your favorite book and why?

DAY 2 – A QUOTE FROM SAID FAVORITE BOOK?

JENA– Oh!  This is one could be fun!  Since I don’t have JUST ONE favorite book, I shouldn’t be limited to JUST ONE favorite quote!  Lol  Here’s a few of my favorites:

“You need to remember yourself. Rule number one of assimilating in a small town: Watch your fucking mouth because we’re all armed and we all know a pig farmer.” – Sookie Stackhouse, FanFic ‘Saints and Sinners’, by EricIzMine

He pulls me around and kisses me. “You’re Mac,” he says. “And I’m Jericho. And nothing else matters. Never will. You exist in a place that is beyond all rules for me. Do you understand that?” I do.   Jericho Barrons just told me he loves me.” –Jericho and Mac, Shadowfever, by Karen Marie Moning

“God Said: Let there be light! I said: Say please.” – JerichoBarrons, Shadowfever, by Karen Marie Moning

“Barrons was powerful, broodingly good-looking, insanely wealthy, frighteningly intelligent, and had exquisite taste, not to mention a hard body that emitted some kind of constant low-level charge. Bottom line: He was the stuff of heroes.  And psychotic killers.” – Mac Lane, Faefever, by Karen Marie Moning

“Never forget what you are, for surely the world will not. Make it your strength. Then it can never be your weakness. Armour yourself in it, and it will never be used to hurt you.” – Tyrion Lannister, A Game of Thrones, by George R R Martin

“Luscious, aren’t I, poppet? Go on, stare. I don’t mind.”
-“You look like a Dracula porn movie reject”
-“Let‟s not speak of him. Like the devil, Vlad might appear if we do.”  – Denise and Ian, First Drop of Crimson, by Jeaniene Frost

“We cant all be Superman, but we sure as shit can train hard, and with loads of practice, we can be Batman.  And who the fuck doesn’t want to be Batman?  Batman has an impeccable moral compass, he’s clever and mysterious, and when fucktards get sassy, he punches them in the face.” – Tough Sh*t by Kevin Smith

“Ah, my daughter,ʺ he said. ʺEighteen, and already youʹve been accused of murder, aided felons, and acquired a death count higher than most guardians will ever see.ʺ He paused. ʺI couldnʹt be prouder.” – Abe, Last Sacrifice, by Richelle Mead

Yep……I could keep going all day long with this one……….

BETH –

“Yer a wizard, Harry.” – Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

HEATHER -

“You’re about as helpful as a spoon in a knife fight” ~Third Grave Dead Ahead

  1. Probable my favorite quote of all the many books I’ve read is when Eric says to Sookie in Club Dead: “I don’t like having feelings.”

Second fav. Rhage to the Scribe Virgin reference saving Mary from dying in J.R. Ward’s Lover Eternal: “There is nothing I would not do for her, nothing I would not sacrifice.
